Imagine this scenario. You wake up in your messy room. You get dressed quickly and exit the house when you notice that you're missing the door keys. This is generally what a hidden object game feels like... to me, at least.
Seeing that American Thanksgiving day is fast approaching, why not enjoy some Thanksgiving themed games while you wait? In this case we have potentially frustrating hunts for small objects over warm pictures of happy people and soon to be sliced turkeys.
Happy Thanksgiving Hidden Object is part of the Hidden Object series by Difference Games. In case you have never played such a game or have no idea what it is about(although I highly doubt it); these games challenge you to spot certain elements (objects) that are cleverly hidden in a bigger picture. There are variations on this theme but that's the basic just of it.
Here you will play on 20 different artworks with turkeys and pumpkins, trying to spot nine out of some thirty objects scattered around. Tapping on a correct object will grant you some points whereas tapping on anything else will subtract from your score. Points are used to unlock new pictures to play on.
You can chose between Casual, Normal and Challenging modes. These modes increase difficulty by adding limited time and rotating items so that they're harder to spot. You can also increase difficulty by having silhouettes or words as hints instead of the object images. This will also yield more points.
Some objects are easier to spot than others. The objects in pictures are generally well placed, complementing the background colors, shapes and theme wherever possible. Some are partially obscured by scenery, so you can't always expect them to stand out like stickers on a fridge.
If you enjoy the genre, Happy Thanksgiving Hidden Object can keep you entertained for a couple of days, in wait for that happy Thanksgiving dinner. Just spare the turkey, please.
